The Power of Press Releases - Inexpensive Internet Marketing
I just got out of a meeting discussing internet marketing for one of my company’s, and I’d like to share some bullet points on the power of press releases to my blog readers. Press releases are a cheap, effective way to market any business on the internet. Whether it be online, or offline, press releases can take a company from a nobody to a someone, overnite.
A press release can do wonders to your website. When I was launching MinoritySpace.com (www.minorityspace.com) our first press release attracted about a million hits in a 24 hour period - this shut down our services, but got us the exposure to we needed to get us started.
My press release for my company Ameriprep Solutions (www.ameriprepsolutions.com) promoting our product Financial-GPS (www.financial-gps.com) not only got us some initial sales, but also helped both our Google page rank, but also our overall SEO. The link backs and backlinks that we received from submitting to hundreds of news outlets and online journals is helping us move up the chain on search engines. We’re starting to see this SEO benefit now 5 months after the release went out.
Press releases are a cheap, effective way of advertising. I will be posting another blog soon on tips to write an effective release. If you want to get started on a Press Release now, there are many free outlets that will distrubute your release. However, I would reccommend paying a couple hundred bucks and going with www.PrWeb.com - they’ve been really good to my businesses.
To your success,
Steve Eilers
